Charlie Gilbert was recruited by GDBA from the Central Intelligence Agency, where he served in the Top-10 leadership position of Deputy Director of the National Clandestine Service.

He also served as:

• Executive Officer and Senior Operations Officer in the Directorate of Operations
• Chief of Global Intelligence Operations against a hostile target country

Assigned to the top position in three different regions, Charlie was responsible to conceive, plan, and execute complex intelligence operations. He has been operationally proficient in Farsi, Italian, and Russian.

• The Intelligence Medal of Merit
• The Donovan Award (twice)
• The Director’s Award
• Three Meritorious Unit Citations
