James leads our Protection Quality team which conducts audits of GDBA’s protective programs to ensure our strategies align with our clients’ unique needs and to ensure our protectors meet our training and fitness standards and our certification requirements. He also manages the review of emergency incidents at our clients’ properties with the goal of enhancing our service to our clients.
James co-created GDBA’s Active Shooter Prevention and Response methodology. He has trained thousands of employees at Fortune-500 companies, schools, universities, police departments, and government agencies in the U.S. and internationally on advanced concepts related to protection, including Active Shooter, Surveillance Detection, Attack Recognition, Foreign Weapons, Executive Protection, and Travel Safety. He is also an Instructor at our Essential Protection Skills Academy and our Advanced Threat Assessment Academy.
One of the world’s true experts on protection, James was recruited from the FBI, where he created and developed the Academy’s Close Protection Course, currently taught to protectors of the U.S. Attorney General, the Director of the FBI, the NSA, and the NYPD, among other agencies.
