Rodney manages numerous residential protective teams for public figures and their families.  He has managed close protection details in more than 40 countries across 6 continents, including on super yachts, at sporting events, and during music tours, diplomatic trips, and high-risk environments. 

Rodney has worked alongside the U.S. Secret Service, Capitol Police, State Department, and Department of Defense during protective details involving high-ranking government officials, foreign heads of state, and members of royal families.

He has consulted on the development of protection strategies regarding difficult terminations and reductions of force at Fortune-500 companies.  He has also managed protective details at shareholders’ meetings involving high-profile executives.

Rodney leads trainings of public figures’ household and office staff on safety and privacy issues.  He is Senior Instructor at our Essential Protection Academy, and he has trained hundreds of protectors on Advanced Operations, Special Field Services, Command Center Operations, and Active Shooter Prevention and Response.  

Rodney was a Squad Leader in the U.S. Army and led combat operations in Iraq.  He also commanded an Amphibious Assault Vehicle Unit in the United States Marine Corps (USMC), and he was Instructor for the USMC Mixed Martial Arts Program and Army Combatives Program.  

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Psychology.
