Mark Haught was recruited from the Department of Homeland Security. Prior to joining DHS, Mark served as Deputy Assistant Directorfor NCIS, running the expansion of Middle East operations after 9/11, and later supporting all European intelligence operations.

Michael LaFever is a partner in GDBA who has advised high-risk clients since 1979. He is the firm’s liaison with LAPD, U.S. Department of State, Department of Defense, Secret Service, and various international law enforcement agencies. Michael was the only civilian attendee at the Central Intelligence Agency’s first Threat Management Conference.
Ellen Prystajko is a behavioral scientist with a specialty in threat assessment. She has managed thousands of cases involving threats, unwanted pursuit, and workplace violence, and served on the Development Team for several MOSAIC Threat Assessment systems.

GDBA recruited John Muffler after his career with the U.S. Marshals Service, where he was Chief Inspector and Administrator of the National Center for Judicial Security.
Bob Martin is a pioneer in the field of threat assessment. Before joining GDBA, Bob ran the Special Investigations Bureau for LAPD, and served as Commanding Officer of Detective Headquarters Division. In 1989, he created the Nation’s first Threat Management Unit at LAPD, and later founded the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals. Bob has been with GDBA for 23 years.
